Depop used to charge a flat 10% seller commission on every sale. In 2024 it removed that fee entirely for US and UK sellers, making Depop one of the cheapest resale marketplaces around. Here's what's left.
US and UK sellers pay no Depop commission at all as of 2026. This is a genuine structural difference from Poshmark (20%) or eBay (roughly 13-15%).
This is now the core seller cost on Depop. It's calculated on the total transaction, item price plus shipping, so on a $30 item with $5 shipping, processing costs about $1.60. The flat $0.45 component means very cheap items carry a noticeably higher effective rate; above about $25 the total fee load drops under 5%.
If you pay to promote a listing and it sells through that promotion, Depop takes an additional 12% on that sale. This is opt-in advertising spend, not a standard fee, most sales aren't boosted.
Fee rates are kept current but can change without notice. Always confirm current rates in your Depop app before making pricing decisions. This tool provides estimates only and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Depop.
