What Should I Charge?

Work backward from your target take-home: tell us how much you want to keep after fees, and we'll show you the list price that gets you there. Currently supports flat and near-flat-rate platforms; tiered and country-dependent platforms (Etsy, Amazon, eBay) are more complex to reverse and aren't supported yet.

How this works

Every calculator on this site starts with a price and works forward to a payout. This one runs backward: tell it the payout you want, and it solves for the price that produces it, using the exact same rates as each platform's own calculator.

Why only four platforms so far

Fiverr, Mercari, Poshmark, and Depop all use flat or near-flat percentage fees, which makes solving backward for price straightforward algebra. Platforms with tiered rates, country-dependent processing, or multiple stacked variables (Etsy, Amazon, eBay) need a more complex reverse calculation. We'd rather ship the reliable version for simple platforms now than a shaky one for complex platforms today.

Poshmark's two tiers

Poshmark is the one platform here with a real branch: under $15 it's a flat $2.95, at $15 and above it's 20%. This calculator checks the flat-fee branch first, and only switches to the 20% branch if the flat-fee price would have landed at $15 or above, exactly mirroring how Poshmark's own calculator decides which rate applies.

Fee rates are kept current but can change without notice. Always confirm current rates directly with the platform before making pricing decisions. This tool provides estimates only and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Fiverr, Mercari, Poshmark, or Depop.
